Most of us ( well I know myself ) didn't achieve Root access on the first, second or 3rd try...

It took me 2 tries... hang in there...
1 htc g1 (rooted) soaked, resurrected and died finally 11 mos later
1 moto cliq died unexpectedly.
1 samsung behold II huge disappointment sold
1 samsung vibrant (rooted) 2.2
1 mytouch slide...hers untouched.. lol
all > iphone
