I did not make this but I have been using it since it was released. This is the best Hero ROM I've ever used and I used em all. There is also a themed version of this that looks and performs really well. You also can switch your kernel to different ones with a 10mb RAM hack and different BFS version all as nonwipe flashes so you try em all out and see which one you like.

A Short forward:
First and foremost, sorry for the delay in releasing new builds. Life happens. I bought a new car and have been doing a lot of work. You can thank Manup456 and MikeTaylor for doing work while I was away and harassing me to get off my lazy arse. Manup456 even went so far as to gChat me things I had promised and to hold me to them.

This is based off of the new Sense Hero Dump, thank you to the source. I think I know who you are, but you definitely know who you are! Also, thanks to Lexton Drakes for providing the dump.

This ROM builds on a lot of the stellar work JustAnotherCrowd put into Hero development. In essence, SenseHero maintains the framework and method while replacing some of the content with the new dump. JAC may be MIA, but I'm sure he will be back.

Are you Loving the looks of this Hero? Love the speed? Ok, let's step it up a few notches with my XDA proven user.conf's. The first one is a speed demon and recommended for performance as well as speed. If you have the cohonas, try user.conf2, if the first is a speed demon, this is the devil(not really but its really really fast). Both are stable and fast. Download either of the two files, rename then user.conf and copy/push them to /system/bin/. The easy way to get Root Explorer or any file manager that is capable of viewing and modifying system/root files and copy it with that or move the files to your sdcard, open terminal type:

su
mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
cp -a /sdcard/user.conf /system/bin/
reboot

adb commands:

adb remount
adb shell
cp -a /sdcard/user.conf /system/bin/

or

adb remount
adb push <location of the file on your computer> /system/bin/
adb shell reboot

To check and see if the settings have been changed open terminal type:

su
sh /system/bin/swap -s

or

adb remount
adb shell
sh /system/bin/swap -s


G1/Dream users BFS 304 is recommended for top performance.
Magic/ION/myTouch 3G users BFS 300 or 230 is said to perform the best.

Nope long as you have the correct spl and 3 partitions your good.

Hm what should i use for mytouch? BFS what? any suggetions.
i want it fast but no lagging and all that annoying stuff!

BFS-300 w/ 10MB RAM hack for MyTouch, but a lot of people say 240 is the best, try em both once you flash the rom u can flash as many kernels as u want, they are all non wipe updates.
