So your saying Geo411m's is faster than cm6 using cyans .34 kernel. I may give it a try in the morning too, it already has the blackbar too.

Question, gentlemen:
I'm still on 5.0.6, and I was wondering what the best kernal was to use for this version. I tried going to the XDA link I saw many moons ago, when Pershoot zip'd the Desire cam along with a new kernal. But the page lists so many now, that I'm not sure which one to use. I know that 6.0 Alpha is out now, but I really love the Desire cam. And since my wife broke her camera, and I'm visiting family in a few days, I didn't want to be without it. In any case, if someone could kindly direct me to the best kernal (as I will be using usb tether while driving), I'd certainly appreciate it. Thanks as always.

I have been using this one on 5.0.8, supposedly better battery but I can't tell much difference.

It really depends on what you want, better battery or higher performance. I know notxel and simms are using a kernel from wildmonks and here is a link to all of pershoots kernels.

Thanks, gents. I know it's out. But I keep getting conflicting reports on it. (Apps2SD, market lag, Superuser issues, etc.) And, I can't recall anyone saying anything about how the camera is on Froyo. Is it even comparable to the Desire cam? And as always, thanks for your time.
