Okay here are my two cents for the V2 ROMS. I ran V2 full as the control to measure speed and stability. When I ran V2 Full side by side with the V2 Personal and found that speed wise they are about the same, and I personally thought that V2 Full was a bit more stable than his personal one. The lite still has some quirks but it is as fast as the 1.5 cupcake Unrooted G1. One personal gripe though. I don't know if I am doing anything wrong but the only way I can get his personal roms to boot up is to repartition and reinstall the Radio and SPL, when I do a regular wipe in the console as instructed when reflashing I'll get a bootloop with his Personal Hero ROMS, any help or suggestions?

Your problem may be the apps still on your sdcard, you have to wipe the ext partition completely.

The partition for dummies is a lot simple then your first link to partition FAT32, EXT3-4, and Linux swap. I was confused for hours because I was trying to do everything in windows cause that's the way the guide was written which made it very confusing. I'm half way now and I used Ubuntu instead of hard disk pro 2009, I thought ubuntu was more simple!

I'm gonna flash the radio and if I get stuck I'll try to get help here.

Everything worked flawless : D I'm using the full version at the moment to get a view how rosie UI is before personal.

I was having a problem that i could not figure out while at work so i ended up going back to 1.2. Every time i got a text message instead of the tone i set it would play Journey's anyway you want it. Seriously. No Joke. I dont even have that song on my phone. Couldnt figure it out but since i get so many texts i had to change back. Anyone have any idea on that. Was using Personal btw.

So does that mean I have to reformat my fat32 partition as well? I just follow the instructions where I go into my console and enter in the following code:

mount -o rw /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /system/sd
cd /system/sd
rm -rf /system/sd/*

Just to make sure I understand your post, am I wiping my ext partition with that code? To my understanding I am. But after rereading; you also said that if I have apps on my sdcard it could screw up the flash, therefore, theoretically I would have to format my fat32 partition as well?

Try going into the Messages app, then go to settings, scroll all the way down to the bottom and check the Ringtone catagory in the Notifications tab. I had that problem too. The weird thing with the Hero builds is that there are two different locations to change the notifications tone. Changing in the main settings will change all notifications except texts, until you specify to have the "Default Tone" under the settings in the Messages app. Let me know if I was rambling anywhere.

Yes, your fat32 should be fine.
