Remote Access

I think it would be great to remotely access and use media on your home pc/laptop from your phone(i.e. play music on your phone from your computer at home). It would free up your phones memory to do other things and it would limit your storage to the size of the hardrive of the computer you are accessing. Maybe it could be possible to store rarely used applications at home, access and use them remotely also. Just a thought..

Anyone know of something like this in existence or being developed? Think it is a good idea?

ORB media, Simplify Media, all of those will make it to Android...they do EXACTLY what you are asking for.

Theres a recent app in the Android market section called Tunes Report....it doesnt stream but its acts like winamp remote...except for itunes.....remote control and plays it thru the PC.....nowhere near as good as streaming tho
