please help me

first im new to this website i need help and am very sorry if i posted this in the wrong place. now my problem is that i downloaded the cm updater and tried to get cyanogen on my g1 i did what it said and everything and now my g1 will not go past the g1 screen. i can hold home and end to power on and ive tried wiping my phone and re installing several things including trying to go back to the original fw. ive followed many tutorials and just cant seem to get it ive tried the end button and camera button but it quickly tells me no image found and then "seria10" is shown on screen. i do not know what to do im pretty sure my phone can be saved because i can still go into it through the console and connecting through usb does anyone know how to fix and can you try and keep it simple i do not know technical talk for rooting or anything like that. thank you very much for any help god bless.

put this on the root of your sd card , rename it update . use a card reader if you have to . power up pressing the home and power buttons . keep on the home key for 5 secs after . now it depends on your recovery . if you have cyans recovery , press update(alt+s) then reboot . if you have stock , press alt+l when you see the exclamation point , alt+s to update , then reboot .

what exactly do you mean by the root of my sd card??

that means not in any folders or anthing.

And remember that many times it can take UP TO 10 MINUTES to restart. Its not a 1 minute process after you apply the update. The CM updater works fine you just have to give it a LOT of time same as when you manually update it by placing on the SD card.
