Default partitioning sdcard to ext2 on a mac.

i'm in need of some help. i'm tryin to install apps on my sdcard. it looks relatively easy with the commands...but i cant partition my sdcard to ext2 file system.

i'm on a macbook 10.4.11. disk utility is this build does not appear to be compatable with ext2 file systems. i can only write 5 different kinds of mac file sytems, msdos, and unix.

any who has installed apps on sd using a mac?

Hm, i tried to see if i could figure it out but no dice. It seams like it was easier to do a few button pushes on my pc.

Gparted is your only solution in a mac, I did it using parallels (Vista) desktop and Paragon Partition Manager and still gave me a real hard time Bootcamp? not even think about it it wont do it
EDIT: EXTfs will do it just fine in a mac, just find out

the walkthrough on the xda site said it was easiest to do on a linux machine or a mac machine. i must say, this does not seem easiest.
