Okay... but still, I see your point, mailing from a notepad would be great. I'd still like to be able to edit what people send me in e-mail (I count as a business user, though most of my working day is at the desk I do occasionally have need of reading e-mails somewhere not at my desk and right now I can't do that because we don't have Outlook on the G1 unless you're on the same network as the server which won't happen because it's against our SOP and.,.... )
So yeah, we should have OOo and Adobe Reader and a few others that bizzy users require. Otherwise G1 will remain a personal phone, business users will stick with their Blackberries and iPhones, and those of us like me who wanted an open source phone on T-mobile with all the bells and whistles the G1 has will simply be forced into something they don't want: either a not-so-business phone, or a phone they don't want to use due to hardware or OS limitations.
