ok now i have a serious problem

first my edge and 3G stopped working and for the most part all i had was bars. then.... i had NO SERVICE! and i tried leaving my battery out for 5 or 6 mins and when i put it back in same problems.

so i did a factory reset and now i have the above mentioned problems along with my screen timing out every 5 seconds or so... the timing is shorter when i have the g1 plugged in.
this is making mybackup very difficult to reinstall my apps

does anyone know what is going on? is anyone else having network failures in the dallas/ft.worth area?

p.s. im on JFrc1.30 and have been for a while now, but just recently started using the wireless tethering.

Did Power Manager re-install itself automatically after your reset? If so, check its settings to make sure that it isn't causing your oddly short screen timeout. There's no reason that rooting or the tether stuff should cause this issue.
