Request , Post , Mix & Match

When I get the phone, I will confirm the correct table names and format (.png/gif prob) besides what the emulator gives.. if know one else has done so already. I will update this post to give you that info. Otherwise, If you already know, Post. Any current icons you have or know of , esp in a vector format will be useful.

If anyone already has a reference list then please post it.

I was under the impression that internal memory did not show when hooked up to USB. Is there a way to SSH into the phone like the iPhone or how are you accessing that level to get htis information.

I loved changing icons on the iPhone. It ALMOST kept me from buying the G1 but I got past that.

Thanks that would be awesome. There are hundreds if not thousands of iPhone icons out there. Seems like it would be easy enough to package sets as soon as you or someone figures out where to put them, format and, size.

yea, first thing I want to do is re-skin the phone dialer. I think that thing looks wayyy too plain.

I'm waiting for the sprint Android phone.. I want al lthe g1 owners to go through the grwowing pains.. so I can enjoy my decked out .. sprint android phone..

yeah, the dialer is so very "meh"... once someone gets an easy to install openSSH package put together for the G1 I think we'll be able to start skinning stuff.. or we need a summerboard/winterboard or customize equiv... I guess that's the thing about being on the bleeding edge like this.. we gotsta wait for stuff to be developed.

the calculator buttons look cooler than the dialer ones.. I would be willing to use those even. heh.. honestly, I think it's going to take a while before we get into modding the UI too much.. this device is just so new..
