pull battery

replace spl update with rom update

flash!

okay pvt is good ... thats what you need.. what are u trying to flash anyway??? also alot of the new roms do hang on either the g1 screen for about a minute, and then on the htc logo for about 2-10 minutes...
also make sure you have your sdcard formatted correctly.. and you do a wipe before flashing..

I was having weird problems with cyanogens build and receiving texts and phone calls, switched to dude's new 1.3 with the hero theme installed, looks nice and is just as quick. Good stuff!

Sorry Kon, I forgot about the battery pull. Its normal. Happened to me too. Just pull the batt and your sdcard. Place your sdcard in a reader or other device so you can switch the SPL zip with the rom zip. PLace your sd card and batt back in the phone, then boot into recovery mode and flash rom like normal.
