No PC Connection.

I have a laptop (Vista)

and

a Desktop (XP)..

I tried connecting my G1 to either one with the USB and it won't let it work.

Nothing comes up.

It works with my old SK LX which also has an SD card.

any advice on how to fix this?

maybe u need to update ur computer
that happened to me once with the old one

From the home screen, go to Menu -> Settings ->SD Card & Phone Storage and check to make sure that "Use for USB Storage" is checked. If it isn't, check it. It should show up on your computer. Other than that, I don't know.

my laptop will recognize it as ANDROID device, but my desktop wont.
