New Weather App

I love the weather app on the iPhone (that being the ONLY thing i like on the iPhone.)

I have the weather channel app.. and its kind of ugly.

I think we need something nicer looking..

I've contemplated it, since The Weather Channel's app is very poorly written (not threaded properly, ugly, etc). The problem is, if it gets posted to the Market, 95% of the comments would be "Pretty but The Weather Channel app already does this" or "Where does this better" etc.

Thus, it'll get ranked lower and it drives away the motivation of the dev (we have feelings too, haha).

Anyway, check out the accuweather app out for now if you want a better looking weather app.

guys ..... the weatherbug app is so much better than the weather channel app . the weatherbug app also puts the local temp in your notification bar . i mean local . every neighborhood i enter , it says the name of the neighborhood and temp . its kind of cool . anyways , check it out .

yea weatherbug is cool, I just kinda hate the UI...i wish it was more...well...androidy.

i used weather channel and weatherbug until the bug updated and gave us a temp status in the notification bar . that day i uninstalled weather channel . TWC was one of the first apps i downloaded in october .

I think the best weather app in my opinion, [Im not sure if it really is an app or not, but I believe its just integrated to the OS] is the one on Touch Flo 3D. Which I believe the iphone also has.

Personally, I've just started using the weather function in "Where." Does everything I want in a weather app. Weatherbug is nice, but really, I could care less about all the info it gives me. I wanna know the present weather and the forecast for today and tomorrow.
