    Default Mp3 Tag Editor

Well I haven't seen this type of app yet, I wish TuneWiki would let you edit your mp3 tag, so it can look for the right album cover and lyrics sometime.
Hope someone will do it though

Are you talking about the ID3 tags of music that you've copied from your PC to your G1? Or downloaded elsewhere directly to the phone?

I'm very OCD about my mp3 collection. Every file has to be tagged correctly before I add it to my library... So, everything on my G1 is tagged correctly.

Whynot just use your PC to tag everything correctly before moving it to the G1? Or if you downloaded it directly to the G1, whynot just connect your phone to your PC and edit the files that way?

Yea I am. I know that you can pre do it before adding onto the comp. I was thinking it would be a useful app if one was added, so just in case you dont have access to a computer you can do it right off the G1. Sometimes, I have the tags correct on the computer, but yet Tunewiki doesn't find the correct album art or cant find the lyrics to the song (and it's a mainstream song). Just a suggestion

I also wish Shazam would include a builtin lyric finder, so when you scan the song that you want, it would display the lyrics for the song, that would be cool also

Using your g1 to tag files sounds tedious. Why not do it on your computer?

Yeah, but there is no reason to prohibit it, isn't it

Yes! I got it instantly when I saw it. Thank you very much, let the portable mp3 tagging begin! You know this program is going to be essential when you can download mp3s to your G1 from the browser.

I agree.... when you buy the mp3s legally they come tagged so most likely if they are not tagged they come from your computer so why not tag them while they are there? people just love to waste time... If you are downloading mp3s from your G1 browser, unless you are on Wi-fi the download will be much faster from your PC so you'll still save time by downloading and tagging from your PC. If you are outdoors while doing this then that's a different story, use the mp3tagger.
