Default Monitoring used data-traffic in time-period

Hi and a happy new year,

    I got a G1 and i use it with a german provider without a
flatrate...so i have to know how much traffic i used...
My previous phone, a Nokia communicator, could show me the traffic i
used over GPRS and over WLAN...

The android platform seems not to support this, do you think it would
be possible to write an application to monitor the used traffic over a
period of time, parted in traffic over WLAN and traffic over GPRS/3G?

    Thank you in advance!

    Kind regards

Look for an app called NetCounter. It can give you a break down from data going through Wifi and GPRS/EDGE/3G. In each of those networks you can get data broken down by total, last 30, last 7, today, or montly usage.
