Modding g1 question

i'm sure you guys have probably answered this a few times, but I can't seem to find anything about it.

I'm in the process of modding my g1. I'm using the wiki here

to do so. I've gotten all the way to the "Flash Android 1.6 & CyanogenMod 4.2.5/4.1.9999"

section of the wiki. But, when I reboot, and go into recovery mode, I get stuck on a screen that says "Build: CyanogenMod v1.4 + JF" and I can't reboot, and I can't do anything really. If I press Alt+L it just brings up a blank black screen. Anyone have any advice? Any help is much appreciated.

nevermind, I removed the battery, and rebooted, then it brought up the correct screen. Thanks anyways though guys.
