thanks, i didnt think i had a reason to do it but might as well.
ok so now my only question after doing this would be, how would I check if this actually is saving to the sd card. I see the market cache folder on the sd card so if its working properly it should have info in the folder right? i also noticed in manage apps that my market size is waay down to 52 kb.
or you can use astro look under sd card for the cache and see if its got aything in it after looking a bit in the market
Just checked my Market cache and I'm sitting on a whopping 25 mb. I don't have the stones to root yet and I can't remember/ too lazy to check if cupcake will be addressing the issue. My ? is..... is there an easy fix without having to delete and redownload everything? My browser has been closing b/c of memory and I am having to constantly clear my browser cache and history...

yea it doesi have a bunch of stuff in the market cache folder while the size of the market is only 52 kb
now that this is done, anyone know an easy way to have all apps downloaded and run directly from the SD card?
wat u can do is eiither: use astro to back up all ur apps to the sd card and do a hard reset, or just download rediculusly large apps so that the market will automatically shrink down. OR u can try to get root![]()
Robocop had a memory glitch. As soon as I posted I remembered about the low disk space icon and tricking the phone into clearing the Market cache. I'm good now. As far as root goes, I'm gonna let cupcake play out and I will probably wait for an android phone that I can't resist to come out first. That way I'll be able to mod the hell out of this one without worry. I'm a chicken, I know, but I've bricked at least 3 phones before cause I couldn't resist my tinkering fetish.
