Just rooted/got cupcake, now contacts don't work

I just rooted my phone and added the cupcake, and everything looks fine/the camcorder and keyboard works and everything...

The only problem now is that all my contacts were deleted, okay, I can deal with that. But when I tried to re add them, they keep deleting themselves after a few seconds. It's really weird. How do I fix this?

Also, I think I was supposed to do some kind of radio update? What is that about? (I'm good with following instructions but not so learned with all the technical lingo so I'm so lost)

EDIT:: I found all of my contacts/phone numbers in my Gmail contacts section on the web, but now how do I get them over to my phone... and how do I get them to stop deleting themselves?

alright first question.. did u wipe "factory reset" before applying JFs 1.5 cucpcake... cus u have to so it can work flawlessly

best thing to do is to backup all ur apps using astro.then dload the JF updater app from the market, after u wiped.. set it so that u can see all the updates.. dload the radio first. itll restart on its own and then just press Alt + S. ok radio is applied, then just dload the jf cupcake and Alt + S
