    Default iFast Photoshop toolbar concept

At the site above, there is this brilliant concept to hook up an iPhone to a Mac/PC with Bluetooth to give the user a handy touchscreen shortcut toolbar for Adobe Photoshop. I was wondering if a similar app has been made for Android yet (though it would have to use WiFi instead). If not, I am sure there are many designers out there with Android phones that would kill for an application like this.

If it worked well enough, I could see myself paying $5 for such an app.

Hmm, so you would pair via wifi or blue tooth and it would act as a secondary keyboard. Thats kinda interesting. Would be really cool if you could launch it and have buttons that would obviously launch different apps so then from within you could have quick keys to the particular app your in.

For me it would be AutoCad, Gis and a few others that work sticks me with now and then.

Clearly, you aren't a graphics designer. Photoshop has a LOT of buttons and menu options buried deep in long lists. This would save quite a bit of time hunting for frequently used items without customizing and memorizing all sorts of complex keyboard shortcuts like Shift+Ctrl+Alt+S (for saving slices).

Omg how dare you! Designing graphics is all I do! Check my signature on the se-nse sony ericsson modding website.

I use a lot of shortcuts, like ctrl+t, ctrl+s, ctrl+u, ctrl+a etc etc but for those complex ones (saving for web etc) I use the menus, which arent that complicated.

Maybe using this for other tasks like zooming in and out it would be more useful. In the preview it shows the basic photoshop dock.

    Supernova agrees with this.

The concept app that is dislayed in the pictures contains shortcuts only for tools that are on the default Photoshop toolbox panel. Each of these have two key shortcuts (or easy to remember shortcuts at east) already. To access more complicated commands on the mobile device you would still have to navigate a menu system.

The app could specifically contain some of the more obscure tools in photoshop that people don't use often, you could customise which tools displayed on you mobile device, but people requiring the more hard to find areas of Photoshop probably already know exactly what they are doing.

Now for an app that you may wish to control whilst not at the computer this would be perfect, but there is already TunesRemote (iTunes remote control) and gmote (browse and display media on your computer) in the market which do such things.
