use a sd card reader and put a rom on it rename it update.zip and when you get to the triangle press alt+L then ull be in recovery then alt+w then Alt +s let it run then reboot by pressing home and back
Long story short. My last G1 got trashed at work so got a new one today. Went through the root process with this one and ohhhh noooooooooooooooooo!
Home + power to get to 1.4 now gives me the death triangle. And when I turn on the phone the boot image comes up and then goes to a blank screen.
No way to load or correct anything.
Went South after the new radio and spl.

The death triangle is the stock recovery . Alt+L brings up the console, alt+s updates , alt+w wipes . Its not a wory![]()
That got me back sorta..... After the wipe I tried the update.zip but would not let me load it. Rebooted and now I am 1.6 again but it looks stock. No roms shown.
Thanks for the help, I guess I will try again from scratch. This is what I have now.

Sweet! My last rooted G1 never said that! I think I'll give it another go then tomorrow then get my new 8gb LG class 6 sd card partitioned and get these Roms blazzing!
