I need some one to build a theme for me when the phone comes out

hey guys i was wondering if anyone would build a Ferrari theme or the phone and then put i up on android market plz

i would be so happy if anyone would do that come who doesn't like Ferrai lol

we have no idea how to make "themes" yet for this device. not alone if it is even available. will keep you informed though...

Gotta be a way. If it's truly Open Source, someone will hack it eventually.

I was reading about themes on the android documentation and it's not that easy.
You just don't replace images but you need to change or create new xml files.

It's not impossible but I don't have the time to invest in learning all that just for themes.

Other thing I found is that the documentation only refer to skinning your application and not the hole system.

ok all.. I don't think you exactly need to replace the xml files.. I have messed with the sdk package and have found all the proper things that are used on the android desktop.. all you simply need is something to get the exact specs(size, dementions) and make your custome pieces.. Then once done go to the piece that you want to replace and do rename, copy the images name. then go to your new pic and rename and paste.. then copy this image to the other file that contains the origi.. Hit yes to replace then do whatever it does to flash or whatever.. I dont get how to put the new version of the image or whatever lol.. im stuck in WM6.1.. lol.. I have flashed both of my Wings to many times.. lol!! Made to many skins for them lol!!! O and the best way to make or edit images is to use Gimp2.. I would google it with your g1 lol jp.. No on comp and dl it.. Its way bad a$$..
