I have an idea for a jailbreaking aka root software.

I think someone should make a program that roots it for you without needing to do all the work manually. I have an idea for a program name that will do it all...Androidbreak! Do any of you programmers out there have the guts to make a program like this ? The program that gave me these ideas was Quickpwn.

. I only came up with the idea because I see how frustrated people (from what I read on other threads) get when they mess up and need to start over or some just don't get the instructions because they are not geeks like most of us. So a program that will do it automatically would be a time saver and will simply be pain free for many. I am sure people hate downloading so much files to just to just jailbreak and to root their G1's.

. All I need someone on this site to elaborate from this idea...Androidbreak sounds very catchy for a Jailbreaking and rom uploader utility.
Do u really have the Hero rom running on your G1 ? That's insane and probably not safe lol. Did it take you one try to get it on the G1 ? and how long did it take u ?

well first it can download the dreaimg.nbh file and downgrade your phone, then it could download the hard spl and the recovery img. it would then tell you to type in telnetd in the home screen. then it would download telnet, type in the commands, and wa-la root access!
next it would give you the option to download apps2sd2 and create a ext2/ext3 partition on your sd. then it would move your apps to sd. etc...(it would have other options for thing you could do with root)

Sounds like a winner to me, thats how it would come together if such a program existed.
