Default How to install themes for Cyanogen 4.0.4

    The title says it all.
How do you install a theme on Cyanogen 4.0.4?

I have seen a couple of amazing ones and want to try them out.

So, just run it as an "update".zip in recovery mode?

I suggest you install Cyanogen's recovery 1.4 which has an option to "Flash any zip file' which makes it even easier. No need to rename, just download the proper theme, put the file in the main sdcard folder and flash away. But as someone mentioned before, BE SURE its compatible with the rom you are using.

I also suggest you keeping the 'default theme template' from the Cyanogen thread for the rom you have. If you do run into problems with flashing themes 90% of the times, you can flash the default template and your rom may work again. IF that doesn't work, then you can flash the rom over it again.

So what happens if you flash a rom and want to switch, or go back to Cyan's stock? Do you have to reflash Cyan? And will that mean you loose all your apps/settings etc?
