Nevermind, I figured it out fine.
If anyone else have problems grasping this as you try to install it or reinstall or whatever feel free to post and I will make it easy to understand.
I seriously need some help here..
There's Eclipse, which is a complete stand alone java SDK, correct?
Then there's the plugin for Android that you can update and install via Eclipse update, correct?
Then this is where I get confused, there's ANOTHER android SDK here:
http://code.google.com/android/download.html
I don't understand this, do I need both Eclipse + plugin AND this?
Is it meant so Eclipse + Plugin is enough for itself, and that the Android SDK is enough for itself?
Nevermind, I figured it out fine.

Eclipse is an IDE. IDE's are used to help write code.
Correct, the Android plug-in for Eclipse makes it easy to develop Android appliations.
You need Eclipse to write your code, the Android SDK to understand the code you have written and the plug-in to interface between the two.
Eclipse <- plug-in -> Android
You are best off having all 3 installed.
Glad you got everything working![]()

You can write Android apps without the Eclipse IDE ...
The Eclipse IDE makes things a whole lot easier.
Yeh I figured it out after 1 hour of fiddling around, was just really impatient since I had it working before but then had to reinstall since updating didn't work for me. (thinking back I bet it was because I didn't update the android sdk as well, and only updated the Eclipse-Android link plugin)
