Question How about a basic onscreen keyboard

If there is already an onscreen keyboard for the G1 out there, I sure don't know about it. I would love to have the larger keyboard on my display screen to use for texting, searching the web, etc. My only complaint about the G1 is the really tight fitting keys on the slide-out keyboard. I'm forever making typos. Maybe with use this will get easier to avoid?

Anyway, there isn't an onscreen keyboard to anyone's knowledge yet is there?

    i swear.

people complain about not having a keyboard when they have a touchscreen phone only

and then people complain about not having a virtural / on-screen keyboard when they have a physical keyboard

ugggh just relax and enjoy what it comes with.

Not really a complaint, just would be a nice application to have in addition to the other cool features of this phone. It's without a doubt my favorite phone I've ever owned.

It's not about complaining for the sake of complaining, you twit, it's about practicality and usefulness.

There are plenty of times when an onscreen keyboard would be useful, there's no reason why a phone can't have both.
