help with rooting please

im using vista and it says to format to fat32 when i right click on it it formatted my card but it doesnt give me the option of what to format it to. any suggestions?

Is there anyone that would know what to do? now i right click on computer and go to manage and then go from there and right click on removable and format it to fat32 buts its not formatting and it says unallocated but all of my songs are still there

??? it should be as easy as right clicking on the drive representing the sd card and formatting.

yeah thats what i thought to but it doesn't do it it doesnt even show me a status bar or anything

ummmmmmmmmmmm so your sure it is the sd cards drive displayed on the computer while its mounted on the computer?
right clicking and going to format does not give you an option to change to fat32 and finishing or format?

im sure that its the sd card and sometimes it says that its unallocated then other times it says that its healthy and i try to format then i get error or sometimes it lets me pick fat32 i click ok it disappears and then it comes up as unallocated again, but im going to reboot comp real quick brb

I concur...he is the reason I have root and I am forever grateful. He collected all the information and instructions in one area, made them easy to follow, and even provided links...It's almost like he WANTED someone to find it. Imagine that...someone wanting to actually use information easily provided to them. That's the future right there...and some folks just aint ready for the future i s'pose.
