    Default help using paragon partition manager to partition sdcard


    still tryin to get apps on sdcard. using ppm 9.0 on a win xp pc.

    the phones sd is mounted through the g1...my pc reads it as removable disk F...but ppm isnt reading it. any help?

    so..upon further examination...i've come to realize that F: is not exploreable. when i try to look at the contents of the drive..it shows an error.

    "F: is not accessable." then something about an I/O error on the device. probably why PPM wont read it.

    I do not know that application - but I would like to just say as a good old paranoid fool - that I would definitely format the SD card OUTSIDE of my phone... (if you bought your card outside of the phone, it likely came with an adapter to make it mini or standard SD form factor which can be read by most newer laptops, many, many printers and most pre-fab PCs.

    There are a ton of partitioning and drive management programs out there. I would find one that seems easy to use, and specifically mentions flash memory of some sort as supported..

    Me? I just used homeboys mac to get ext2 par :-/

    i used ppm 9.0 but it read my card fine.
    make you you have your phone mounted.

    neither my Macbook or my PC have an sd reader on them.

    my card is mounted. my pc reads it...it just wont let me explore the contents of it...which is weird.

    make sure when you plug your phone into your pc you mount it. then open the program.

    exactly how i'm doing it. put ppm still wont read it and my pc still wont allow me to explore the F: drive. i keep getting an I/O device error when i try to see the folders on the sdcard.

    Ha...my computer doesnt have drivers for an android. it sees the phone in control panel under add hardware...but i get the golden ?????.

    usb drivers any1?

    can you mac read your card?
    if so you should try reformatting it.
    i think something maybe wrong with it if your pc cant read it.

    i dunno just a guess.
    but if you do reformat dont forget to back everything up.
