A wallpaper for the G1 with a nice winter-theme
I also made one with squares that show the different screen positions
Green is the left swipe, blue is the right swipe, red is the normal position and yellow is when you rotate the screen orientation.
I have a photoshop-file with it all if people want to use it to see how the wallpapers will turn out on the G1.

Edit:
After some messing around with testing how the G1 uses the wallpaper I found out that it actually cuts away a little bit of the bottom of the wallpaper and ofcourse also some of the wallpaper get's hidden behind the notification-bar.

Thererfore, here is the revised images of how the G1 wallpaper will be on the phone...

(and as said before, if anyone wants the Photoshop-file with all of the markings in it just ask )

EDIT:
Been messing around a bit more and made an explanatory picture for how the G1 (atleast the emulator) uses the wallpapers.

As you can see in the second picture, the wallpaper aint positioned in the middle of the screen. The wallpapers top is placed 13 px under the top of the screen. This ofcourse results in the bottom 13 px of the wallpaper disappearing off the bottom of the screen.

So when you make a wallpaper you may aswell make the "picture-part" of the wallpaper only 455 px in height and then fill out the top 12 px (that are behind the notification-bar) and bottom 13 px with just blank white or something. Now you should have a wallpaper with 480 px in height but with a blank stripe on top and bottom. (see fourth picture)

This way you would make sure that you would see the whole picture on the screen. The blank stripes will just go to hide
