if youve been with tmobile for 90 days , they will unlock it for you free of charge . if not , there are lots of services that will unlock it for a fee .

if you want to root it , well , your in the right place .

I don't know if you solved your problem or not, but you can call T-Mobile if you have an account over 90 days old in good standing, otherwise, don't bother. There are many sites out there that can unlock your G1 via a remote code, but if you don't want to pay, we can unlock it for you too.
