i think its a little early for roms but just give it time and someone will pop up with a rom
Who will be the first to make a Droid rom now that it is rooted. This is my first android phone and I have successfully rooted it, I can't wait for a new rom. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there planning on making one soon.

I'm wondering If I'd be able to upload windows media player or a program that will read wmv/drm protected files on a rooted droid. Is this possible?

djunio I would love it if you can tell me a good rom to install on my phone.. Ive never rooted a phone or flashed it with a rom.. So i am alittle scared that I can **** it up. Is it worth the risk??
Don't they have a Nexus One ROM for the Droid already?

They do have the Nexus boot screen out, but to apply it to Droid you must be rooted and have busybox and metmorph installed on your phone.
here is the metamorph file needed to be placed in the Android theme folder that metamorph will create once you instal it. get meta mrph from the market.
heres the nexus boot animation for droid.
