    Default Easy Uninstaller App

One thing I can't get over is how much of a hassle it seems to be to uninstall apps. I usually do it by jumping into the M Downloads section of the Market. Now, I'm no dev, but would some wondrous dev be able to develop an app to make uninstalling simpler. Here's what I'm thinking: a background app that makes it so when i drag an app to the trash/drawer, it opens a pop up menu that gives me the option to delete shortcut or uninstall the whole app.

What do you think? is it possible?

I've found that a relatively easy alternative to going through the market is to create a shortcut with Any Cut to "Manage Applications". That way, you can keep it on your home screen and click it and it will bring up a list of all of your applications for easy uninstalls.

That's exactly what I do... shortcut to Manage. The only hassle is waiting for it to populate your list, but other than that, its to the point.

you don't need anycut to get to manage applications its under home screen >menu>settings>

you could also check out grouphome, its usually how i do multiple uninstalls.
grouphome isn't in the market, you have to get it from jsharkey's blog, there is a link for it in the app discussion forum, thread found an app not in our market.

CN, you underestimate JUST how lazy I am..... see there's
    1. Menu
    2. Settings
    3. Applications
    4. Manage Applications

    or Anycut to:
    1. Manage Applications.

    I'm JUST that lazy.

But thanks for the info on Grouphome, will check that out... good for massive housecleaning!

Ahh, my poor Texas rose, you gotta work that finger a bit, keep it in shape for heavy touchscreen use.

Haha, kits.... I think I'm the ONLY one not wanting multi touch, hahaha

Oh, I'm sorry CN if I was rude... I didn't mean to be. And you were right to remind us that settings is in desktop/menu...

But what's wrong with Anycut? I think you just don't like us lazy people
(thats another silly joke, if it doesn't read well online!)

no offense taken. i'm not sure why but i really don't like anycut, i think i felt used when i realized that the few things (like desktop folders) that i used it for were standard. maybe it does some awesome stuff, but i've held a grudge against it since!
