    Default Delete Stock Apps

I did a search and couldn't find anything difinitive. Can you delete any of the stock apps? I would like to get rid of Amazon and the stock Music player as I want to install the HTC music player. and I don't know if one would over ride the other.

I've been trying to figure this one out for a while now . There is a way , but I think it might be impossible through the phone . Probably possible through adb ( but I don't know how ) . I would love to get rid of the amazon app . I tried pulling the apk from amazon and the IM app out of an update.zip , it didn't take . As soon as I applied the update , I received numerous errors . I need to find what else I need to pull out so that I don't get the errors . if its possible , I will figure it out !

I read some old posts, I think on the forum, where you can do it through the terminal emulator. But that post was in Jan of 2009. Things might have changed. I would like the HTC music app but I don't want 2 music apps. I'll keep looking and see if I can find anything. Going to be gome a couple of hours, the daughter, wife and 2 granddaughters ganged up on me. I guess I'm paying for Applebees today.

Uh, each argument should be separated by a single space; adding another space isn't going to help or hurt matters.

Additionally, .apks are not directories so the -r (recursive) flag is unnecessary.
I blame this man for most programming problems.
