aiight cool
was using the dudes rom.. alota issues; but im enjoying cyans rom
going to give the new update a try
I had the VERY same problem as you with thedude's rom, it drove me CRAZY!
All I did was download cyan's rom....renamed it to "update"...put it on my sdcard...backed up my data and everything that's on my sdcard just in case...booted it into recovery...wiped not once but twice (just in case) lol and then flashed it. You do not need anything else, no other SPL or radio. I was also on apps2sd2 before I flashed to Cyan from thedude and everything went down fine...apps2sd is working like it should, you don't need to move anything to the internal memory. So far, cyan's ROM is indeed more stable than thedude's and none of those annoying issues it had. I'm on 3.4.6 at the moment but i believe 3.5.2 is out now.
Also, when making my move to cyan, I flashed cyan's recovery image which is very easy to install and much more convenient with added features than the one you're used to. You can get it at the below link... CHEERS!

Thanks!
Guess I"m going to give this a try...
yeah i wiped and then loaded the new cyan rom, i started with 3.4.6 1st (idk if that makes a difference) im going to update to the new scary experimental later today
you dont have to use apps2sd2 or update ya radio.. only difference when you check ya phone storage, you'll see ya memory in the thousands but you'll have another section or area that shows ya internal mem
but my phone been running much smoother since.. no bugs or nothing, except for the screen lag which should be fixed in the experimental roms ...which also requires nothing special to update too
I am running this rom and my phone seems to be having problems with the sim card. Its comming up with error reading the sim card. Has anyone else had that problem? Could it be my sim card? I took out my sim card and put it in another phone and it works fine so thats why im thinking its may not be the sim card.
Thats what I thought too. I had planed to go to t-mo today and get them to switch mine out. Just wanted to be sure.
can someone explain in real basic steps what i do to get from rc29 (freshly rooted) to cyanogen 3.4.6. i dont need an in depth detail just a rundown of the names of files or something like an outline im really confused with all this radio and recovery image talk.
