custom notifications

I downloaded a great crow caw .mp3 file I would like to use for a notification. Ive tryed everything I could think of. I installed "Ringo" but still cant figure out how to use crowCaw.mp3 for a notification.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Make a folder on your SD card called notifications and put your mp3 in there. The notification sound should show up in your phone's notification list.

Excellent! Thank you Dsmithjr. That worked perfectly. Im a lil disappointed how that was not in the manual. Thanks again for the post. I now I just need to remember there are no crows in the mall. =]

On your sd card create a folder called media. In this folder place a folder called audio. Finaly create two folders in audio. Call one ringtones and the other notifications. Fill these as you please and the should show up in your sound settings. Have fun!
