    Default Custom Boot Splash Screen

After getting my replacement G1 with R29 (Thank you T-Mobile) I was able to get it rooted and thanks to JesusFreke and the other great minds over xda-developers.com I was able to replace the boring black and white "T-Mobile G1" splash screen with this one I made on PS:

So will you be able to get the "cupcake" update when the RC29?
    Or will you replace it?

Right now I have a modified RC30. So when cupcake is out I'll wait until they have a modified version, then I'll update.

I was having some issues with the phone not connecting to data (no 3G, no edge) and sometimes when I closed the screen a message "unsafe sd card removal" would pop-up on the screen but I could see my pictures on the sd card... so after few minutes with T-Mo they sent me a new phone.

P.S.: Did anyone liked the boot screen? Hehehehe

Nice splash screen. I know this thread is kinda old, but I have been trying to do the same thing and have had NO luck. I have the SDK installed, the image ready and everything tests fine, but I cannot get it to flash. I'm using Windows XP and when i use the fastboot flasher that i have, it just hangs at waiting for device and never does anything. Here is the current info on what I'm running, maybe I have the wrong build?

    SPL Screen
    DREA100 PVT 32B
    HSPL10.95.3000
    CPLD-4
    Radio-2.22.19.261

    Firmware Version 1.5
    Kernel Version 2.6.27-00392-g8312baf

    Build number CRB43

Any help on getting this to work would be greatly apreciated, thanks.

its time to upgrade your rom . here is cyanogens 4.0.4 , you will like it much better than jf's .(it has a custom android loading screen also)
    http://n0rp.chemlab.org/android/upda...0.4-signed.zip

rename it update , put it on the main part of your sd , power off your phone , boot up pressing the home and power buttons into recovery , alt+w to wipe , alt+s to update , reboot .
