i have seen a program called "shutter speed" in the market pictures, but i havent got my phone yet to see what it is..but im sure the rest will be developed soon
can someone make a app that allows for full use of the camera
giving the user options like white balance and resolution?

shutterspeed is just a calculator that tells you if you change one setting what you're other setting should be for a proper exposure. For us photographers it's not really useful if we have light meters.
I would like to see an app like this as well, one that gives you more control over the camera, maybe with a manual focus option? That would be kickass. Also, I don't need the full 3 megapixels for picture messages, so a resolution option would be awesome as well.
I know this might be a wild idea, but I know the camera will brighten or darken the screen based on light, so I would think it does some kind of metering. If there was some way you could calculate light readings, and develop a light meter app, that would be out of this world. Even if it was somewhat close to use as a starting point would be better then nothing when I'm without my meter.
