Call/sms filter app??

i've been looking around and haven't found one. Mcleaner is the best in my opinion. I emailed them asking if they will have a version for the g1 soon. They responded back with a yes. In the meantime, I hope someone can develop an app similar to Mcleaner, because i really need it

It's a call/sms blocking app. So you can block any number you want. It gives you an option to send back a busy signal or you can divert the people on your block to another number. It can be any number you want. It gives you an option. Oh, the calls or sms that u block get sent directly to a seperate call log. The whole program itself can be password protected. It does a few other things that ilm forgetting to list. But it would be a great app for the g1

One has arrived ! - It's called GBlocker. - Available on android market

It diverts incoming calls on the block list to the number set in the phone settings under "When phone is busy divert to..." - Ideal for me as i can divert anyone who isn't in contacts or is with-held / private number to the office who'll take the call for me, and then anybody already in my contacts still comes through to my voicemail and can leave a message.

It also sends the number that has been diverted an automated text which can be configured however you like.

It exists, for Spam, parental control, and privacy, there is SMS Filter (look at the market)

You can detect and manages SMS corresponding to personal filters based on keywords (words, regexp) or phone number.

Handcent has a blacklist option built in. Also, Cyanogen has a built in call filter.
