Okay 1.62 was released including a couple of missing .apk's I had already added them to my 1.6 build so I'm not changing.

I had given up on Hero ROMs... This one is fast. I'm actually enjoying this more than the latest Dude ROM. Fast, nice browser and apps2sd working to an ext3 partition makes a HUGE difference in performance. Plus the card may last a little longer. Nice job JAC!

Can someone tell me how to port/replace the Saphire cam to the Hero camera? To me, the hero camera has a fast shutter and looks a bit better.

I just noticed that the system is a little slow returning to Rosie. This is after running for a while and the force close/wait window ALWAYS comes when closing the browser. HOWEVER, this Hero ROM is already better than the previous four I've flashed... I can answer the phone!!!

Haven't loaded "super" hero, I read some pretty nasty posts in that thread about what it was doing after flash. I like this ROM tho. I've actually liked all of them, this is the first one I can answer the phone with on a regular basis. I was even having that problem with the Dude update 1.3 (beta12). I will probably flash over to him and load up the RC one of 1.3, but that's after I've had some time to decide if this Hero ROM is good enough for a daily driver.
