O.K. I'm on "JACHero 1.8bv4" right now and I was wondering how do I update to "JACHero r2.3.3" without having to wipe & download all my apps again. Like how they we used to get OTA upates before using roms how they just updated the firmware & kept all your stuff. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

man that sucks. I wish I didn't have to. It would be so much easier & make me want to flash a newer rom.

I've tried JACHero 2.3.5, 2.3.3, and 2.3 and they all have too much lag for everyday use. The phone gets hot too. I went back to Cyanogen 3.5. Plus I need to have bluetooth to work.

This is going to make me sound like a total newb but I don't really care...
once I root (haven't yet but I found a great tutorial) I have to install a build?
Then just install the Hero Theme as the update.zip on my SD card and then restart and do the whole alt+l and alt+s thing... and bam I should have it all good to go correct?
Which ROM should I actually install if I want the Hero theme? it is a theme correct?
and if anyone can give me specific help and what not my email is wmdnc1990@gmail.com

Finally checking out a Hero build again. Haven't tried one since I rooted.
I was sworn against because of the lag and stuck with Cayn after that.

    Now trying 2.63

Not one bit of lag! I'm staying!

People reported seeing the HTC screen every so often with 32mb linux-swap partition and said switching to 128mb did the trick... and it did for me too.

    One dislike!!
The only shame is that you need to wipe every time you update (example: when JAC 2.64 is released), no?
This means I have to backup pro alllll my txts, wipe, then put them all back on again.

I should just delete them.. i have 7000 and its becoming extra baggage.
