It's a normal MicroSD card, why wouldn't you be able to partition it however you wanted?
I believe it's a class-2 card, however.
Hi guys,
I tried searching for this but I couldn't find any thing. I wanted to know if it were possible to split the stock 1 gig memory card into ext2 and fat32 and use that for apps to sd. Also, is the stock card a class 6?
Thanks

I blame this man for most programming problems.
i read somewhere that you shouldnt use card under a class 4(really should use a class 6) and that you shouldnt use one's smaller that 4gb...
EDIT: yea i found the part about using under a class 4...
via Haykuro's apps to sd method
This guide might work on other roms, but is not made for them, so use at your own risk (well, you use at your own risk anyways, but you get the point). Also it is recommended that you DO NOT do this with a class 2 card, and most likely not a class 4. They are too slow and can cause repeated crashes/constant reboots.

I'd Really Just Buy A Bigger SD Card They're Not That Expensive. I Got An 8GB For $15 On Ebay.
