apk storage...

ok, I'm bound and determined to find out where the apk's are stored when you download them from market. I'm on a secret mission and need to find these files. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Originally I thought the file i was looking for would be in system/apps however I cant find it.

System/Apps & Apps-Private, I think.

As Market apps are all there, with no DRM, it's a hidden folder. SUFBS can open it, though...
