Try reflashing the recovery image and see if that will correct the problem.
I cant be the only one. The problem I am having is when performing a Nandroid backup....the backup never ends. I have like 3 gigs of space left on my sd card and Ive tried deleting the Nandroid folder to make it re-create the folder. Still, it will run forever if I let it. It used to be intermittent, delete nand folder and reboot and try it again usually solved it. Now it just wont work.
Anyone have a solution to this problem? I went through alot of searching and found lots of info on the restore but not much on the backup portion.
Thanks guys

In addition to reflashing, you might try the RA recovery. It has quite a few more options than Cyan 1.4.

*EDIT* So after a few hours of screwing around and trying a few things...I have revived my 8gig card and I am back to cyan 4.2.2 with apps2sd but I still can't seem to get nandroid backup to work. It's an endless trail of dots. ??
*EDIT* Something went very screwey with the process. I ended up where I wanted to be but apparently fried my 8gig card in the process. Still cant do a Nandroid backup though. Just endless dots on both cm recovery1.4 and RA1.2.3
This kinda sucks!
Thanks for the suggestions.
I tried reflashing the cyan 1.4 recovery image....backup still didnt work
I tried flashing RA 1.2.3.....backup still didnt work.
Right now, I'm redoing everything from RC29 (which sucks but I don't like the fact that I can't make a backup). I am thinking it may have to do with my sd card though. Ive been meaning to get a 16 class 6 anyways.
I was able to perform 1 backup on cyans 1.4 recovery after the rc29 to cyan 4.0.4 but I want to get back to the cyan 4.2.2 with a clean install and apps2sd then take a backup.
Ill keep you updated
