You are suppose to run it in command prompt.
I installed the sdk, and the eclipse on my computer, but when i double click on the adp the command prompt pops up for a split second than disappears. Does anybody know how to fix this. Thanks
You are suppose to run it in command prompt.
My sdk file is located on my desktop and when i put adb in the command prompt it doesnt recognize it. The only application that is running on my sdk file is the emulator. Can someone help me.
Perhaps the "adb" binary is not in your %PATH% ? Try specifying the full path to adb.
mine does the same thing. I have put the following under path for environment variables: E:\android\AdbWin\ (I have my android stuff in a seperate partition that was empty beforehand).
When i go to run and type in either this or just adb it pops up and then disappears nearly straight away..... i am using xp.
some help would be greatly appreciated- thanks
**edit*** in australia we have a saying when people do dumb things we say orH DER! I just said that ot myself- reread the instructions again and the not-so-fine print said to type adb into a "command prompt"!! so i opened a command prompt and typed it in.... and it worked!!
i think over in the US you may say what a DH!
hope this helps someone else, assuming that there is someone else in the world as stoopid as me!!!
