radio first. let it do its thing(takes a couple min). after reboot to rom, you can do the multitouch add on. its for cm 5.0. ive gotten much better internet speeds with the new radio!

how much did the radio improve your speed?

at home in brooklyn i would get 1100 max download. now its near 2000. at work i would get between 1800-2100. all day ive been at 2400-2700. id say thats an improvement. but some others arent reporting increases. i think its because there is high speed in my area.

Do you need to be rooted to do this?

Or what is the purpose of this? Isn't the new radio included with the Google OTA for N1?

yup simms is lucky enough to be by a powerful antenna in NY
i recommend the quickboot app, saves a step

those are impressive numbers! I'm getting 805 kbps down and 395 kbps up

it dropped my speed from 1100 to 800 but um n a building with alot of metal n wires, ill test again when um outside

it really depends on the spot where ur located, i got 2200kbs the other day a few miles away
