Hi,
Today i tried installing linux on my nexus one, ubuntu. And that requires you to put a file (ubuntu.img) that is 2gigabites on the sdcard. No probelm!
SO I go into adb shell in CMD in WIndows 7, do the 'su' and cd to the /sdcard/ubuntu and when i try to find the files with 'ls -l' all files show up except for the UBUNTU.IMG. It gives an error message saying: "Data too large for defined data type"
Any help please on how to fix this problem? Thanks so much. It's not just me trying to install linux error, its what i stated above. Thanks again.

yeah? and does it display your ubuntu file? why is ls so important for this install?
I was wondering the same if you know the file is there and what it's called, you don't need to list it just move on to the next step?
No, when i try installing the file, it wont complete giving me the error above in my first post. That file is crucial for my process. I just stated the ls -l because the same error also appears there. And no the file doesn't show up in 'ls -l' except for the error stating what I typed above.
