Wouldn't it be cool if someone created a radar app. I don't know if it is possible to be made . But it would save me from speeding tickets. Who elese wants this?

If you tell me how much is 3 apples and 2 melons I will tell you how G1 can scan the bar-codes and find police laser/radar gun signals

Bar-Code scanning is just camera option - nothing much needs to be implemented vs radar detector which is device bigger than g1 itself.

Why can't you just follow the speed limit and then it won't be necessary for some software coder to have to spend hours to design a free app so that you can skirt the rules. Gheez what is wrong with this country? Maybe someone will design an app that spits $100 bills out of the phone whenever we want it so that we can all quit are jobs and play with our G1's.

While impossible app would be awesome, there are some sites trying to collect when/where radar is setup. Would be awesome to have a centralized system for this (and since a lot of PD's are for stating when and where the traps are, it'd be easier for them)... then we could just have them up on google maps. An app could probably be created fairly easy to warn you if you're approaching one via gps... So, it's not entirely a "add a flash to cam" request :P

Yes, if I'm not mistaken all you need is a clear camera and the software.

You think it actually SCANS the barcode...? Where the **** is the red laser...?
