3D Model wallpaper of Android figure.

Well I finally had some free time to continue work on the 3D model of the Android character that I started months ago. He was made in a CAD program along with the G1 logo and Android name. I originally made my avatar and sig with these same models, but I wanted to do something more for a wallpaper by rendering. If I ever brush up on my animation skills, I would like to make a short animation with it. maybe have him dancing or something.

These images in whole or in part are my property and @copyrighted. I give permission to the registered members of the AC community only, to use these images on their G1 phones and desktop computers. Under no circumstances are these images in whole or in part to be used, altered, resized, changed, or posted in anyway, on any other website or included in any other websites forum without my permission. A link to the Android Community website may be posted on other websites only, where others can register with AC and use the images as stated above. This disclaimer also includes no merchandising, reproduction, or copying outside of internet use for profit or any other means.

EDIT: I'm not claiming ownership of the AC character logo. I'm claiming ownership of the "IMAGES ONLY" that I created of the AC character logo. Thats why the second word of the notice says "images".

EDIT #2: On a related note, that little green guy that’s been popping up everywhere… he’s free to use in whatever fashion you want. He’s been released under Creative Commons 3.0, which means you can do what you will to him. Throw him on a bumper sticker, t-shirt, or coffee mug. Credit is given to the original makers of the Android figure, but they do not endorse me or my work.

If any AC member sees these images posted or used outside of the AC website, please let me know.

I will be making some more with and without the G1 logo and name. I can also change the colors. I'll play around and see which looks best. I would also like to have some T-shirts made with it or a plastic figure to put on my desk.

I've included 3 sizes. 640 x 480 for the G1, 1024 x 768 standard desktop, and 1920 x 1200 widescreen.

Are you the actual copyright owner of the android character from the logo?

If not how can you claim ownership of it?

It's like me making a 3D image if Mickey Mouse and claiming ownership of it.

So you mean to tell me that if you made a painting of Mickey Mouse, Disney would have rights to it. Its only the likeness your claiming not the actual character.
