You could always create a folder for your games.
Is there anything like this currently on the market?
My interest has been piqued by the dxtop app which gives you two trays, but I think I would prefer an app which just simply gives you two trays, on in which it stores all your games, and one in which it stores your apps, both lists can be alphabetical.
The two trays could even have colour coding, or a letter on the try icon (e.g. 'A' and 'G') so you know which one is for which set of programs and dont accidently pull up the wrong one.
What does everyone think?
You could always create a folder for your games.
I think the orientation of the tabs is a minor issue, but IMO the best place is at the bottom like in dxtop, since the screen is in portrait mode, and so if they were at the side, it makes the screen even narrower, if at the top they clash with notification bar, so only sensible place is at the bottom.

The folders solution is just not as elegant. Then, to open a game you would be using a shortcut on the home screen, to open an app you would have to go through the tray, which would contain all the apps and games, which just looks messy.
no one else like the idea of two trays, one for games, one for apps?
hmm, there is a very interesting video from "Wind River" about tabbed tray:

Is there no program apart from dxtop on the market which has tried tackling the trays and giving us something different?!
Would have thought this would be an obvious target.
i like your idea.
