    Default "New Posts" not sticky

I like to browse the site using the "New Posts" link so I can see all new posts. Often when I look at the site for the first time in the morning, there are three pages of threads that are either new or have new replies. I don't usually have time to read all the new posts at home before I leave for work, so I skim them over just looking for any that might be of immediate interest. However, I have noticed that when I get to work, I don't have three full pages of new posts any more--I might only have 10 or 15 posts total. I know I did not mark them all read before I left. So where did they all go? I'd really like the site to remember which threads I've read and which ones I haven't. To make it even more confusing, it doesn't do this every time, but it has on occasion, and in fact every day this week too. Any ideas?

I would think the site remember what you looked through by your IP. I'm not entirely sure how the forums are setup... so it could be a setting that your overlooking?

    np

I thought the site kept track by username what threads you've read and not read. Perhaps I am mistaken.

I've noticed the same thing, but thought it was related to time (since I work at home, I'm often logged in continuously, but in the mornings I notice I have almost no new threads as if that info was purged on some cycle?

I'd love it like he said...
ASUS eee Pad Transformer en route!! T-mobile G2 in hand, N1 on loan to my daughter. G1 on ice.

Yes, precious...my Transformer is almost here...now if only T-mobile would roll out Gingerbread for my G2 already!!
