Meebo for Google's Android Platform

Update: We're working hard to fix some bugs, and we're currently hoping to release this on November 7th. Sorry to keep people waiting, we're just EXTREMELY busy :-( On side note, if you're crazy talented and want to work at an awesome company then check out

You're not too savvy on developer speak are you? "hoping" for Nov 7th means more like Nov 17th at the earliest!

That's an extremely good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am using an unlock US G1 outside the US and I could not use my G1 to connect MSN through 3G/Edge network. Hope Meebo can solve this inconvenient restriction!

I'm looking forward to Meebo too. Wouldn't mind paying for it if it works the way I hope.

Yes..

I'm going to pass on IM+.. they seriously wana rip us off and charge us all this money for an app that we can just use with Meebo.

As long as connection doesn't drop then i'm fine..

I like how it has custom away messages and icons and all that, so that's a plus.
I'm going with Meebo. Can't wait...

after using for a few moment, I think it is better than the default IM program of Android, at least, I can use my MSN account through 3g/Edge connection now. (since I am not the T-mobile customer and using my G1 outside the US). There is no material bug discovered at this moment.

Meebo doesn't save your info, doesn't auto login, and doesn't stay logged in it's pretty tough IMO. Basic interface is good though. Just need the little things before its a solid app.
